Then pluck up your courage and come along to Lennox Lightning Toastmasters meeting to see how easy it can be. Visitors are always warmly welcome at our meetings and we do not pressure you to join our club.
Lennox Lightning is a friendly club with around 20 members of all ages and diverse interests who are keen to support each others growth in communication and leadership skills.
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18.
JOINING IS EASY
When you decide you would like to join us, we will provide you with a membership form. Once this is completed and returned, you will be formally voted into the club. On receipt of your membership fee, you will be formally inducted as a member.
FEES
There is a one-off new member fee of $AUD40.00 payable to Toastmasters International which includes the cost of your membership badge. Each six months there is a fee of $AUD39.00 which is prorated at $6.50 per month from the date you join to the next date for semi annual fees. (These fees are subject to change for currency fluctuations.)
There is also a small meeting fee, currently $AUD2.00, to cover the cost of hall hire and supper.

As part of your membership fee you will receive the following items:
Club Name Badge
Communication & Leadership Workbooks These contain guidelines and advice for your first ten speeches. Upon completion of your Communication workbook, you will receive a Competent Communicator Award along with an option letter to your employer telling them of your achievement. Should you wish, you can be assigned a mentor to help you to achieve your goals.
